George Ivan Moon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2022, at the age of 90, George Ivan Moon of Van Buren, Indiana, born in Huntington, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Moon and Nancy Moon (Slater); his siblings, Dorothy Lewis, Thelma McDaniel, May Clark, Corda Welsh, Edward Moon, John Moon, Ralph Moon, Rosetta Welker, Glen Moon and Donald Moon; and his son-in-law Randy McCroskey.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Moon of Van Buren, IN; his children, Katie McCroskey (Jon Jonson), Marianne Gibson (Earl), Ruth Turner and David Moon (Carol); his grandchildren, Holly Kerschner, Shannon Heyde (Matt), April Shaver (John), Brooke Moore (Steve), Robert Turner (Amanda), Caitlin Pollard (Drew) and Christopher Curts; and his great grandchildren, Joseph, Randi, Phoenix and Axel.
