He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry L. Towne and Nella L. Towne (Swarthout); and his sisters, Floris Linder and Verna Welty. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Chapman; his daughters, Linda Schweikhardt (Dick) of Van Buren and Komeh Zilka (Joe) of New London, NC.; his grandchildren, Miranda Zoch and Frank Schweikhardt; and his great grandchildren, Isaac Zoch, Peter Zoch and Vera Schweikhardt.
