With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William H. Franz of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Franz and Agnes Franz; and his brothers, Marcene, Delbert and Laverne.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Steven Franz (Jennie) of Valparaiso, Stephanie Stiener (Gerald) of Winfield, Robert Franz (Larissa) of Santa Cruz and Maria Dahn (Tim) of Schererville; his grandchildren, Sarah Franz, Annie Weller (John), Katie Horney (Chris), Jessica Bashir (Abubakar), Justin Stiener, Madeline Foster (Cody), Emily Dahn, Alexander Dahn and Caetano Franz; his great grandchildren, Beckett Weller, Sullivan Weller, Banks Weller, Nora Horney, Scarlett Horney, Violet Horney, Zayn Bashir and Zara Bashir; his friend Robert P. Gehring; his brother-in-law Paul Scherschel; and his sister Anne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
