He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sommers and Ceolia Sommers (Tannehill); and his wife Ione G. Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Vincent Sommers (Rebecca) of Plainfield, IN, Ione J. Spurling of Valparaiso, IN and Scott Sommers (Julie) of Kauai, HI. He is also survived by grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
