He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Cornett and Edith Cornett (Estep); his former wife Shelly Sick; and his siblings, Jack Cornett, Carol DeWitt, Marcie Synave and Marie Castelein.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Russell; his children, Maressa Kwiatkowski (Matt), Erica Hawk (Ryan), Brian Cornett (Grace), Rachel Zaradich, Brandon Cornett (Sara), Cole Cornett (Natalie) and Nathan Cornett (Caroline); his brother Rod Cornett; and his former wife Cindy Peng.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation.
