He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollan Owen and Melba Owen (Taylor); and his sister Sherry Kraynak. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Empey of Hebron and Cathy Owen of Kouts; and his siblings, Jerry Owen (Marilyn) of Iowa and Patricia Dragash (David) of Crown Point. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bartholomew Funeral Home (102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
