He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon G. Rigg and Mildred Rigg (Dilley); and his brothers, James and Wallace Rigg. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Nowlin; his children, Dan Rigg (Lori) and Lisa Rigg (Brian Schwinkendorf); his stepdaughters, Jennifer Petasnick (David), Kathy Wright (Jerod) and Beth Shreffler (Derek Mead); his grandchildren, Caleb Rigg and Keely Magley (Austin); his stepgrandchildren, Sam, Grace, Isabella Petasnick, Ellie, Anna, Hank Wright, T. J. and Madison Shreffler; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Cooper Magley; his sister Judy Mathias; his close friend Jeff Derr (Linda); and his pets, Lexi and Tucker.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
