He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jr. Whited and Carmela Whited; and his siblings, Mick and Sue. He is survived by: his wife Verna (Odle); his caregiver Jennifer; his son Jim; and his siblings, Rick and Lauranne.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
