With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharron L. Simon of Valparaiso, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin LeRoy Kindig and Mary Kindig (Good); her husband Sheldon Simon; her sister Shirley Rosander; and her daughter Rhonda Mullen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Ives (Daniel) of Valparaiso and Tracy O'Laughlin (Kevin) of Sawyer, MI; her grandchildren, Andy Mullen (Amber), Adam Mullen (Allyssa), Whitney Miller (Adam), Ryan O'Laughlin (Kayla) and Conor O'Laughlin (Leah); her great grandchildren, Mia, Audrey, Raylen, Scarlett and Autumn; and her sisters, Sandra Burkhalter (Archie) of Sacramento, CA and Salena Nichols (Terry) of Woodland Park, CO..
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
