She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Owen Kenworthy and Estella Mae Kenworthy (Huffman); her husband Fred Phillips; her siblings, Marjorie Thompson, Ray Max, Robert, Randall and Roger Kenworthy; her son-in-law Ian Robins; and her great grandchild Emily Clare Hunn.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Phillips (Jill Stewart) of Eastham, MA, James Phillips (Linda) of Bellavista, AR, Mary Hunn (James) of Foristell, MO and Jane Phillips of Cambridge, England; her brother James Kenworthy; and her caregiver Modie Chinene. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to Four Corners Home for Children.
