He was predeceased by: his sisters, Charlene Meadors and Cheryl A. Heckman; his sister-in-law Cheryl Heckman; and his friend Pete. He is survived by: his spouse Nancy McCulley; his daughters, Kristi Heckman (Cindy) and Kelli Heckman (Danielle); his stepchildren, Brad Acton, Barry Acton, Deana Lecy (Mark) and Jamie Acton (Trish); his grandchildren, Nicole, Reed, Erica, Jack, Lauren, Julia, Kristofer, Madelyn and Katelyn; and his siblings, Ron Heckman (Linda), Mike Heckman, Linda Penner (Bill) and Ruth Ann Heckman DeVoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Waymansville, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or Red Sky Animal Rescue, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
