He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter LaLonde and Blanche LaLonde (Racine); his grandson Mark LaLonde; and his siblings, Pearl, LeRoy, Eugene, Peter, Irene and Lorraine.

He is survived by: his wife Irene E. Rauch; his son Duane LaLonde (Peggy) of Valparaiso; his grandchildren, Paul LaLonde (Christin), Peter LaLonde (Amy), Duane LaLonde, Jr. and Krysta Zielinski; and his great grandchildren, Ewan, Cian, EmmaLee, Cole and Cheyenne.
