He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Oliver and Caroline V. Oliver (Cicatiello); his sons, Brian J. Oliver and Robert John Oliver; his parents-in-law, John T. and Joan M. Gillespie; and his pet Molly.
He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Gillespie; his children, Deborah A. Hecimovich (Edward) and Richard J. Oliver, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, Justin Hecimovich and Brandon Oliver; his sisters, Carol Organ and Alberta J. Oliviri; and his brother-in-law Larry Gillespie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
