It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Phillips of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Hanchar and Dorothy Hanchar (Sabol); her former husband Ronald Spencer; and her brothers, Greg and Mike.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald M. Spencer (Julie) of Valparaiso, Tom Spencer (Susan) of Syracuse, IN and Kevin Lee Spencer (Erin) of Valparaiso; her grandchildren, Clayton, Delaney, Connor, Avery and Quincy; and her siblings, Cynthia Hanchar of Valparaiso, Bruce Hanchar (Karen) of Valparaiso, Keith Hanchar of Valparaiso and David Hanchar of Valparaiso.
