He is survived by: his wife Lipa Chavez Zarantonello; his stepchildren, Carlos Chavez (Tanja) of Sharon, MA, Sergio Samuel Chavez (Susan) of Nashville, IN, Fidel George Chavez of Wheatfield, IN, Juanita Rusin (Conrad) of Las Vegas, NV, Nancy Roessing (Michael) of Valparaiso and Marti Hamilton (Kirk) of Frankfort, IN; and his sister Angelina of Michigan City, IN.. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
