She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Stuck and Wilma Stuck (Heinold); her husband Gerald Spiess (Fritz); and her brother Raymond Stuck. She is survived by: her daughters, Lora Spiess of Odenton, Lisa Barlag (Scott) of Valparaiso and Lynn Alexander (Troy) of Springfield; her brother Robert Stuck (Deborah) of Lake Wylie, SC; her grandchildren, Kelsey Talmadge, Nicholas Talmadge (Sabrina), Alec Witner and Kaelyn Witner; and her great grandchild Beckham Talmadge.
In 2017 she was awarded the Circle of Corydon, a Hoosier who has made remarkable contributions to the betterment of Indiana and its people, demonstrating through life and service, qualities exemplified by the state's greatest citizen.
