She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Linton and Mary Linton (Cain); and her siblings, Larry, Gerry and Judy.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" G. Smith; and her siblings, Sharon Gott of Valparaiso and David Linton (Sharon) of Valparaiso. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Porter County Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
