We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2024, at the age of 68, Muriel Jean Lopez of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Muriel Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Muriel Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcelino Lopez and Signa Lopez (Murray); her fiancé Billy Herman; and her brother Harry Lopez. She is survived by: her children, Wanika Lopez of Valparaiso and Marcelino Lopez of Valparaiso; her sisters, Monica Solis (Julian) of Illinois and Marcella Rucker (Sydney) of Chicago; her sister-in-law Cindy Lopez; and her grandchildren, Yalina, Leland and Noah.
