Mona Kernagis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mona Kernagis of Valparaiso, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Lewis Merritt. She is survived by: her husband Tony; her children, Tony Kernagis and Kristine Leetz (Jon); her grandchildren, Max, Isabella, Maggie, Grace, Ian, Charlotte and Josephine; and her siblings, Lance Merritt, Wesley Merritt (Robin), Beth Fitz (Mike) and Roy Merritt (Shanna). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and large extended family.
