He was predeceased by: his parents, Christos D. Hatseras and Angeliki Hatseras. He is survived by: his wife Vaia; his siblings, Dimitrios Hatseras (Evanthia), Eftihia Gavros (late John) and Vasilis Hatseras (Soula); his children, Angela, Eleni and Chris Hatseras (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Hatseras.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Iakovos Greek Orthodox Church.
