He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Kosiara and Sylvia Kosiara (Skiba); his wife Joan Sadowski; his children, Jacob Kosiara (Laura) of Cedar Lake, Matthew Kosiara of Valparaiso, Jason Kosiara (Jillian) of Valparaiso and Megan Laird (Steve) of Valparaiso; and his grandchildren, Tatum Bezdek (Braden), Alyssa Geer, Carter Kosiara, Brody Kosiara, Jackson Kosiara, Jake Kosiara, Blake Kosiara, Madelyn Kosiara, Miles Kosiara, Allie Kosiara, Grayson Laird and Beckham Kosiara. He was also cherished by 3 sisters and 1 brother; and many loving extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Kosanke Funeral Home (309 S Main St, Kouts, IN 46347).
