He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Zulich and Lillian Zulich Swenson (Gilliand); and his wife Olga Marie Dentino. He is survived by: his children, David Zulich and Amy Black (Christopher); his grandsons, Benjamin and Elijah; and his brother Randall Zulich (Jan).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) Foundation Scholarship Fund.
