It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise (Homfeld) Ackerman (Valparaiso, Indiana), who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Homfeld (Mohnssen) and Herman Homfeld. She is survived by: her husband Howard; her former husband Robert Osenga; and her stepchildren, Mark, Robin and Amy.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery.
