She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomason and Lattie Thomason (Shearin); and her nephew Robbie. She is survived by: her husband David Cribbs; her children, John Cribbs (Jenn Lauring) of Boston, MA and Haley Sarkisian (Kane) of Valparaiso; her grandchildren, Carter, Ryleigh and Avery Cribbs; her siblings, Ann Byrum (Cam) of Edenton, NC and Bobby; and her nieces, Cathy Thomason, Julie and Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Lucia Cribbs Memorial Scholarship Fund" at the Indiana School for the Blind, 7725 N. College Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46240, ATTN Mark Eastridge.
