She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Lucas of Nevada; her husband Gilbert; her daughter Deanna Lewin (late Don); and her grandchildren, Krista Lewin and Jason Pagel.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Malocha (late James) and Gilbert Pagel (Sherry); her grandchildren, Michelle Smiley (Bryan), Jennifer Malocha, Matthew Malocha (Shandra), Monica Flores (Marco), James Malocha, Stephanie Fedorchak (Josh), Melissa Clark (Matt), Sarah Amodei (Nick), Amanda Wolf (Chris) and Kelly Isias; her great grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Brooklyn, Ryan, Addison, Van, Marley, Josh, Audrey, Ben, Haley, Alyssa, Sam, Max, Aggie, Nicole, Aubrey, Katlin and Carly; and her great great grandchild Jude.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Lela's name to St. John's United Church of Christ or VNA Hospice.
