We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2022, at the age of 76, Lambert Christopher Genetos of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Lily Schaefer; his son Christopher Genetos (Megan); his grandchildren, Cece and Ryan; his daughter Colleen Genetos (Peter Giannopoulos); his granddaughter Effie; his stepchildren, Katie, Martin, Bobby and Michael Schaefer-Murray; and his brothers, Basil and Philip Genetos. He is also survived by 10 step Grandchildren.

Before moving to Northwest Indiana in 1974 I first met Lanny when we were both law school graduates studying for the bar under Professor Gromley at Valparaiso University. I never thought then that our paths would cross again, but they did. Lanny was an outstanding and ethical lawyer. May our Lord bless and strengthen real good his family at this time. Hon. Calvin D.
