It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katerina Lynn Espada of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ernest French, Bernard and Julia Snowdon. She is survived by: her parents, Rick French of West Chicago, IL and Janice French (Snowdon) of Colby, WI; her husband Isaiah Espada; her children, Rebekah Faith Espada and Malachi Isaac Espada; her siblings, Diana Joren (Josh), Tasha Harbourne (Blaine) and John French; her grandmother Shirley French; her nieces and nephews, Nathanael, Jacob, Hannah, Elizabeth, Toby and Zechariah; her aunts, Kathy McEwen, Debbie Baker and Priscilla Rondy; her uncle David Snowdon (Susan); and her in-laws, Kathy Roberts, Edgar Espada, Donna, Louie, Sheila, Sherry, Nathan and Eric.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 6322 Portage Ave, Portage, IN 46368.
