He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Vass and Emma Vass (Horvath); his son Jeffrey; and his brother Michael Vass. He is survived by: his wife Dianne (Wirth); his children, David Vass (Martha), Joni Corsbie (Jeff), Jeannie Kissinger (Cliff) and Dan Vass; his sisters, Emma Pazos (Anthony) and Dorothy Hubbard (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Enzwiler and Michael Wirth (Gina). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sojourner Truth or Sharing Meadows.
