He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Tofte and Ina Tofte (Veden); his wife Linda Shiyan; his children, Kelly Patrick (Dennis) of Valparaiso, Kathy Brown (Mark) of Valparaiso and Charleen Tourloukis (Angelo) of Valparaiso; his sisters, Nancy Rosenbaum (Arnold) and Linda Rhed (George); his grandchildren, Amanda Godines (Jesse), Adam Patrick, Cherish Brown, Emilee Brown, Jeni Tourloukis, Lillianna Tourloukis and Gianis Tourloukis; his great grandchild Jesse Albert Godines; his pet Harley; his son John George Tofte; his granddaughter Jessica Brown; and his sister Dawn Yagelski.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Porter County Animal Shelter.
