With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Catherine Stelmaszek of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her parents, Barney Marynowski and Nellie Marynowski; and her sister Patricia Motyka. She is survived by: her daughter Patty Sokol (Bob); her grandchildren, Brian Sokol (Amanda) and Cheryl Mulder (Mike); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Lily, Edwin and Bennett; and her brother-in-law Walter Motyka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to be directed to either the Alzheimer's Association or the Parkinson's Foundation.
