It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan L Krueger of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Kirkendorfer (Jack) and Faye Kirkendorfer (Jacks Waffle House); her husband Maynard A. Krueger Jr. (Emerson High School); her children, Jeff Krueger (Lana), Garry Krueger (Carole) and Lori Schmidt (late Kevin); her grandsons, Travis (Kelly) of Chicago, IL and Justin (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Jackson; her grandchildren, Adam and Katy (Maynard); her great grandchild Taylor; her grandchild Lauren Reinhertz (Mike); her great grandchildren, Luke, Eve and Maddie Pisanelli; her grandchild Dr. Ryan Schmidt of Chesterton, Indiana; her daughter Courtney (Dustin Kaptur); her sisters, Marjorie (Krikendorfer) and Mona Rae (Kirkendorfer); and also Joel. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
