It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. Demonja of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Spiller and Shirley Spiller; her sisters, Viola Spiller, Virginia Drescher and Bonnie Wengel; and her grandson Nathan Bond.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Demonja (Barbara), Lorri Slayden (Brad) and Renee Johnston; her grandchildren, Michael Demonja (Cody), Miles Demonja (Ashley), Jason Bond (Kattie), Brandon Bond (Jamie), Austin Slayden (Erica), Erin Ackley (Carsen), Alexis Demonja and Alan Johnston; her great grandchildren, Logan, Audie, Dallas, London, Jax Bond, Piper, Miles Demonja and Emma Ackley; and her siblings, Charles H. Spiller (Darlene), James E. Spiller and Elain Schlotterbeck.
