He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Neil and Marjorie Isabelle McCauley (Kirk); and his sisters, Valorie Jean Engel, Nancy Lou Bohman, Carol Jane Vrabel and Kathleen Marie Slaybaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Jardine; his sons, Daniel McCauley (Ashley) of Valparaiso and Jeffrey McCauley (Kim) of Downers Grove, Illinois; his grandchildren, Evan Patrick McCauley, Collin James McCauley, Lilly Marie McCauley, David Luke McCauley, Lucy Anne McCauley and Liam Landon McCauley; and his siblings, Raymond "Bud" McCauley (Mary Kay), Timothy McCauley (Nancy), Suzy Anne Kern (Glenn) and Elizabeth "Betsy" Cordell (Jim).
The family has asked that memorials be made to the donor's choice.
