He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Houser and Goldie Houser; his spouse Beverly Jean Berndt; his son James D. Houser; and his siblings, Edith, Velma and Harold.
He is survived by: his daughters, Helen Sweeney (Jeff) of Walkerton, Grace Houser of Hobart and Kathy Jean McGee (Brian) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Eric Bryant (Courtney), Jack Bryant (Veronica), Katherine Daunora (Bill) and Jordan McGee; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Bruce, Ashlyn, Walter, Lillian, Parker and Ellie.
