He was predeceased by: his father Harold Fouts; his son Michael Fouts; and his father-in-law John Ditter. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn (Ditter); his son Matthew Fouts (Michelle); his grandsons, Maverick and Archer; his sisters, Cheryl Maida (Ray) and Kimberly Wallace (Mark); his mother-in-law Barbara Ditter; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Olsen (Don), Brenda Pedigo (Bryan) and Richard Ditter (Beth). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
