She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Chavez and Enriqueta Chavez (Membrilla); and her siblings, Luis Chavez, Ama Maese and Lucy Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Brickner (Amy) of Valparaiso, IN and Teresa Pavy of Valparaiso, IN; her grandchildren, Zoe and Michael Brickner; her former husband Marvin Brickner of Valparaiso, IN; and her siblings, Maggie Diaz, Frank Chavez, Alice Lorenson, Art Chavez and Cristina Ortega. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
