He was predeceased by: his parents, Oda H. Marrs and Zelma N. Marrs; his former wife Sandra Lee Marrs; his son Paul Allen; his wife Janice Marrs; and his siblings, Clara Leib, Frances Irene Marrs, Lorena Clark, Denver, Leon, David and Bill Marrs.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sherryl Jauregui of Gurnee, IL and Caryn Armstrong (Ken) of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Winona Davenport, Lyle Marrs (Kathy), Glenn "Larry" Marrs (Sharon) and Jim Marrs (Amber); his stepdaughters, Lisa Fryer and Cindy Moore; and his caregiver Judy Evans of Valparaiso.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (1505 Morthland Dr, Valparaiso, IN 46383).
