She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Arturo Fortes; her husband Philip Lukasik; her children, Dave (Helen), Tom Lukasik (Diane) and Susan Burelli; her grandchildren, Shannon Duncan (Ross), Dr. Christopher Lukasik (Sarah), Ryan Lukasik, Marla Scalise (Matt), Trey Burelli (Alyssa), Maria Burelli and Ronnie Goldsmith; and her great grandchildren, Kirstin Wireman, Kaelyn, Luke Lukasik, Domenica and Stana Scalise.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana, 8446 Virginia St, Merrillville, IN 46410.
