He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Isaac and Verdie Taylor; his siblings, Ruby, Edna, Beulah, Cecil, June and Jacob Isaac, Jr.; and his grandson Benjamin Kemper.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Faye; his children, Gail Kemper (Dave), Jeff Taylor, Gregory Alan Taylor (Chris) and Jamie Taylor (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Chris Kemper (Linda), Curt Kemper (Tricia), Julia Ziese (Nate), Chase Taylor, Gavin Taylor, Kaelie Taylor, Ellie Taylor, Addison Taylor and Morgan Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Gracelyn Kemper, Hayden Kemper, Avi Kemper, Nora Kemper and Xavier Kemper.
