She was predeceased by: her husband Roger A. Hommes; her daughter Sherrie Hommes; and her parents, Erwin Scharnhorst and Charlotte Scharnhorst. She is survived by: her children, Alex Hommes (Nhi), Cindy Pomeroy (Dave) and Brian Hommes (Kim); and her grandchildren, Donovan Hommes, Sarah Zyvoloski (Ricki), Justin (Virginia), Jonathon (Karen) and Tyler Pomeroy.
