She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Slavin; her husband John Papageorge; and her son-in-law Terry Abney. She is survived by: her daughter Kandy Abney; her grandson Alexander Abney (Amanda); her cousin Don Ludwig; and her friends, Dorothy Saffa, Norman Roberts and Nancy Teller.
