Erman O. Shoemaker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erman O. Shoemaker of Vallonia, Indiana, who passed away on June 2, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shoemaker and Selma Schneider Shoemaker; his siblings, George Shoemaker (Mary), Gertrude Wolka (Albert), Althea Sholtis, Mildred VonDielingen (Arthur) and Paula Fuhrmann (Elbert); and his wife Betty Jane Hansen.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Lohmeyer (Joe) of Columbus, Carol Delph of Brownstown, Bruce Shoemaker (Denise) of Vallonia and Julie Dietrich (David) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Ryan Delph (Julie), Kelley Whitson (Patrick), Brianna Spray (Wes), Betsy Elwert (Dave), Katie Walker (Brian), Jacob Dietrich (Hannah), Matthew Shoemaker (Ashley), Katelyn Byrkett (Eric), Maggie Combs (Nick) and Cameron Shoemaker (Piper Acton); his great grandchildren, Mia, Lila Spray, Oliver, Noah Combs, Emery Whitson, Remi Delph, Madison Walker, Gracie, Conrad Dietrich, Luke and Olivia Shoemaker; and his brother-in-law Dave Sholtis.
Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church Music Fund & Lutheran Central School, Brownstown.
