She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Medlin and Iva Medlin (Harvey); her grandmother Annie; her husband Carl McCann; her brother Everett Medlin; her half-brother David Medlin; her sister Edith Davis; her stepsisters, Dorothy Vandermolen and Geraldine Richter; her grandsons, James Sides and Joshua McCann; and her sons-in-law, John Horine and Ray Dullworth.
She is survived by: her children, Everett Sides (Virginia) of Anderson, Brenda Brown (Vaughn) of Roanoke, Glenda Horine of Upland, Sharon Goins (Larry) of Gas City, Terry McCann (Sherri) and Debbie LaChance (Jim); her brothers, Harold Medlin of Marion and Claude Medlin (Kathy) of Dexter, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Richard Sides (Ingrid), Susan Billings (Jim), Shawn Brown (Allison), Chad Brown (Angela), Eric Hollingsworth, Jason Hollingsworth, Joshua Goins (Amanda), Kara Callahan (Clint), Tara Columbus, Micha McCann (Lorena), Christina Dulworth and Rolly Dulworth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
