Though Thelma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thelma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odis Bittle and Thelma Bittle (Spriggs); her husband Udell Patton; her son James Aaron Patton; and her brother Harold Bittle.
She is survived by: her brother Billy Tom Bittle; and her sister-in-law Eva Bittle.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Smith Chapel (259 N Main St, Upland, IN 46989). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Matthews Cemetery.
