She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley and Dorothy; her husband Charles Newlin; her grandson Christopher Grove; her son-in-law Terry Calvert; and her siblings, Lawrence Grissom, Harry Landess, Ida May Riegel, Leo Landess, Ruth Elen Landess, Mary Helen Sandefur and Elizabeth Landess.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Grove (Robert), Sharon Glass (Brian), Gaston, Douglas Newlin (Toni) and Pamela Phipps (Tod); her grandchildren, Lisa Taylor, Matthew Calvert, Jacob Newlin (Leslie), Tiffany Atkinson (Charles), Jennifer Karnafel (Keith) and Amy Hill; her stepgrandsons, Jason (Renee) and Jeremiah Glass (Erjia); her great grandchildren, Khamarion, Khyree, Elaine "Lainey", Emmett, Jace, Nathan, Ethan and Jailyn; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Simon, Molly and Celine; and her brothers, Glen and Kenneth Landess. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
