He is survived by: his parents, Doyle Boren and Esther Boren; his children, Lael Boren (Polly), Landrew Boren (Lana), Hughes Springs and Lori Meyers of Marion; his sister Lucille Ashby of Anderson; his nephews, David Ashby and Dennis Ashby; and his grandchildren, Andrew Bowser, Samy Bowser, Kenny Meyers, Karan Meyers, Katelyn Boren and Luke Boren.
