She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Knowles and Florence Dorothy Knowles (Arnink); her husband Oliver John Godfrey; her children, David Godfrey and Jean Klemczewski; and her brother Robert Knowles (Lois).
She is survived by: her daughter Martha Baker (James) of Marion; her grandchildren, Heather Marlow (Mike) of Millersburg, IN, Alex Ihnen (Katie) of Cincinnati, OH, Andrew Baker of Madison, WI and Emmett Baker of Oshkosh, WI; her great grandchildren, Lucy, Oscar, Hattie and Johnny Ihnen; and her grandchildren, Ainsley and Levi Marlow.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services (259 N Main St, Upland, IN 46989). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1295 Fairview Ave, Galion, OH 44833).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylor University Class of 1950 Scholarship Fund.
