James E. Cotrel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 84, James E. Cotrel of Upland, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rachel Cotrel (Coursey); his wife Shirley K. Cotrel; his father Herbert P. Cotrel; and his brother-in-law Ralph Koehler. He is survived by: his son Jerry Cotrel (Melony) of Upland; his grandchildren, Heather McElhaney (Andy) of Warren, Holly Highley of Marion and Adam Cotrel of Upland; his great grandchildren, Wyatt McElhaney, Levi McElhaney, Eli Highley, Pierce Highley, Willa Highley, Karlyn Cotrel and Kortney Cotrel; and his siblings, William H. Cotrel (Vicky) of Missouri, Mary Koehler of Missouri, Betty Koehler (Dale) of Missouri, Edie McCann (Roy) of Missouri and Nancy Hillme (Doug) of Missouri.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
