He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Ojala Scott and Richard Niles Scott. He is survived by: his wife Tammy F. Scott; his children, Timothy Scott (Ashley) of Cary and Elizabeth Scott of Chapel Hill; his stepchildren, Bailey Daeke and Braxton Daeke; and his sister Judy Berry.
