He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard H. Thalmann and Guelda Thalmann (Mix); and his spouse Devona Doll. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Bukowski (Eugene) of La Porte and Mary Borzabadi (Allen) of Asheville; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Sanchez (Roberto) and Caroline Bukowski; and his siblings, Joyce Cooper of Napolean, Robert Thalmann of La Porte and Kerry Thalmann (Duana) of Eugene, Oregon..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
